Motorcycle Driving Course A1
The course is designed to prepare you for the Module One and Module two tests. The course covers hill starts and angle starts from cars parked and basic road skills such as controlled stopping and emergency response.
The IME course will teach you the basics of riding a motorbike, and develop mental strategies that are safe. It can also help you earn a discount on your insurance premiums.
Theory
The course will provide all the theoretical preparation you require to pass the test. It also includes online classes and the study material for theory which you can work on independently. After enrolling in our system you will receive instructions on how to take part in these classes online in the virtual classroom (in Finnish). You can then choose the best schedule to meet your needs.
In this phase your driving instructor will guide you understand the basics of motorcycling. You will learn about safety tips and traffic rules, as well some of the more intricate components of the vehicle. In addition to the necessary information for all licence categories, you will also be acquainted with the particular requirements for the category you have chosen.
The motorcycle driving theory module included in the course, will prepare you for the motorcycle driving licence theoretical test. This is a crucial element of your education and will assist you in passing the test. The test is a theory one. It consists of an exam written with 40 questions and two videos on danger perception. To pass the test, you have to answer at least 28 of the 40 questions correctly.
In the majority of cases, your eas theory test will be conducted one month prior to the date you reach the age requirement for the particular category of licence you are training for. The test must be taken by a certified DVSA tester. If you fail your test on the first try then you must wait for at least two weeks before being allowed to take it again.
We request that you pay any outstanding balance if you're still not passing your theory test prior to the date you begin your eas training. This is to prevent another student from gaining the reserved seat on this course. If you do not pass the test in the date specified in your training schedule we will be unable to book your resit and you will be required pay the resit fee at the time of booking.

In addition to the theory class the motorcycle driving classes include a variety of practical classes. These are the primary components of your education and can be spread out over several days or even longer, based on your requirements. The Assessment

It is 12 hours long. Before you can take your driving test in category A1, you must complete all three modules. You must be 18 years of age to pass this course.
To pass the test, you must score a minimum of 25 points. To pass the test you must answer all 10 questions correctly. There are no retakes. The test lasts 45 minutes and can be taken at any TUV or Dekra branch of your choosing.
The practical course is split into three sections that last for four hours each. You must be 18 years old in order to take the practical course, and be able drive any motorbike ranging from a 50cc to a 35kW motorbike. You must also be capable of demonstrating the ability to control and manage the vehicle in different situations, including passing turning left or right, and changing lanes.
Once you've completed your practical and theoretical lessons, you are now ready to take your driving test for the category A1 license. The test consists of an assortment of riding exercises on a motorcycle taught by the instructor. You must also demonstrate that you are able to manage the motorcycle in all conditions and in all kinds of weather conditions.
In order to pass the test, you must have completed at least five hours of training on Federal or country roads. You must also complete another four hours of training in a daytime or dawn. You must also complete the required number of special rides. The instructor will inform you when you are ready for the test and give you tips to get it passed.
